“Conversations that Matter:
Town Hall Meetings
School Transition to Adult Supports"
These meetings will provide a forum to discuss issues around transitioning
young adults with disabilities from the school system to community living
that includes employment and independent living.
Please join other parents, professionals, legislators and self-advocates
from around the state in a community discussion about services for people with
disabilities in Georgia.
In collaboration with a number of organizations and advocates in your
community, the Unlock the Waiting Lists Campaign presents an
educational event we know you will want to put on your calendar.
Special guests will include:
Nancy O'Hara, Division Director for Georgia
Department of Education
Dr. Steve Hall, Director of the Office of
Developmental Disabilities, Georgia Department of Human Resources
Peggy Rosser or Carl McRae, Georgia Department of
Labor
Dave Blanchard, Director of the Unlock the Waiting
List Campaign!
